Clinical Psychotherapist
The Mel Bornstein Clinic for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy is looking for Licensed Therapists for our Farmington Hills and Ann Arbor offices as well as teletherapy.
Required Qualifications
Licensed or Limited License to practice in the State of Michigan (must be in good standing with LARA)
Previous experience providing psychotherapeutic services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to establish and build therapeutic alliances
Some knowledge of psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapies and interest in practicing from these modalities
Technological experience necessary for navigating the electronic health record, secure email system and telehealth platform
The ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Ideal Qualifications (not all must apply but preference will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the specialties below):
Experience and interest in treating children and adolescents
Experience with substance abuse disorder
Fully licensed clinician
We are receiving many referrals and will work to grow your caseload to the level you desire, with the patient population you desire. We provide weekly one-on-one supervision with a graduate analyst of the Michigan Psychoanalytic institute at NO COST to the therapist. A minimum commitment of 10 hours a week is required, but more hours are encouraged and available.
This position is ideal for those clinicians who are interested in practicing psychodynamic or psychoanalytic therapy and who are looking to join a collaborative team of therapists at a clinic that provides ongoing training and strong clinical support.

The Mel Bornstein Clinic for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy is seeking a fully licensed clinical psychotherapy supervisor to join our team. This position involves both psychotherapy services and supervision for limited licensed psychotherapists. Opportunities available in our Farmington Hills and Ann Arbor offices, as well as via teletherapy.
Required Qualifications
Fully Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) or Psychologist (LP), licensed in the State of Michigan in good standing with LARA
At least 2 years providing psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy as a fully licensed psychotherapist
Strong interest in providing clinical supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish therapeutic and supervisory relationships
Experience providing psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapies and interest in practicing from these modalities
Technological experience necessary for navigating an EHR, secure email system, and telehealth platforms

Operations Coordinator
Position Description
Job Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan (Hybrid)
The Clinic Operations Coordinator is a key member of the team responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic. The position serves the intake team, supports clinical operations, and provides administrative support to clinic directors.
Essential Job Functions:
Patient Intake
Serves as the first point of contact for prospective patients
Manages intake project and serves as primary point of contact for intake team
Collects demographic and insurance information and enters data into the electronic health record and work management platform
Completes insurance verifications and ensures documents are complete and compliant
Follow up with patients in a timely manner and monitor timely scheduling of initial appointment
Coordinates with billing department for insurance verifications and collection of patient balances
Clinical Operations Support
Assist Director of Clinical Services and Director of Administration with onboarding new clinicians and residents
Serves as administrative liaison and first point of contact between clinicians/residents and Director of Clinical Services
Tracks intake and caseload metrics for reporting purposes
Ensures the physical office spaces of the Clinic are effectively managed
Administrative Support
Provides the agenda, minutes and materials for monthly clinical meetings
Assists with internal communication, policy updates, documentation and administrative projects as needed
Supports financial and operational processes including bank deposits, supply ordering and vendor coordination
Assists Director of Administration in the design of marketing materials.
Regular maintenance of company website
Helps plan and execute staff events, training and special initiatives
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Administrative experience in healthcare, behavioral health or nonprofit setting
Minimum two years’ experience in administrative operations or client service roles
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach
Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems preferred
Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality practices in healthcare setting

Special Requirements and Physical Demands
Hybrid position with three scheduled days in office per week with possibility of up to five days in office when necessary
Position requires adherence to traditional work hours along with flexibility, ability, and willingness to work additional hours and weekends to meet business needs when necessary
Requires safely lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis, for example movement of materials and/or items
Noise level is usually quiet to moderate
